UTAH FOURTH DISTRICT -  Friday, 29 2020

Fourth Congressional Candidate and former KSL News Radio host Jay "JayMac" Mcfarland urges everyone to continue to wear masks in public to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

"I can't believe that this is a political question," Jay said in a Facebook Live. "I can't believe this has become a left or a right issue... I wear a mask in public. I do it for you and I hope you do it for me. To me, this is about being a good citizen.

I have a daughter who has asthma. If she comes down with COVID-19 it could be the end of her life. If anything happened to her and I knew that I could have potentially saved her life with just a simple gesture I'd never get over it.

Wear a mask in public. I get there are a lot of personal liberties at stake, but there are special circumstances when you look past those liberties to our humanity.

I can't believe my opponents are out in the public not wearing masks. Just look at humanity and be human in your decision making."

Feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to interview Jay about his stance on masks.
